Kitchen and food storage ideas
Storage for what lives in the kitchen — pots and pans, food containers, spices, jars and dry goods.
Kitchen item storage fails for a measurable reason: the things being stored are awkward solids of wildly different shapes, and standard cabinets are simple rectangles. A stack of pans is stable but unreachable. A drawer of lids is reachable but never stays sorted. A deep cabinet holds a lot and hides most of it.
The fix is almost always division rather than more space. Vertical dividers, drawer inserts, tiered risers and pull-outs convert one large useless volume into several small useful ones. These pages cover which division works for which item, because the answer for pan lids is genuinely not the answer for spices.
